Folia is proud to announce Selection, our first collaboration with artist Jan Robert Leegte, a collection of 150 fully onchain works available for mint September 12, 18:00 UTC.
As seen in many of his previous works, Leegte isolates Internet interfaces to the point of formal abstraction, stimulating exaltation from otherwise mundane minutiae.
In Selection, the focus of the work is focus itself, fixating on the selection tool as its primary subject. The animated paths skew between jagged and regular, overlaying solids, gradients and transparency grids.
While an initial distribution decides which background each token has, owners can manually override the attribute with a contract interaction. Learn more about the work from the artist himself.
