Petra Cortright (b. 1986) is an artist working in video, painting and digital media. Emerging from the Surf Clubs of the 'Post Internet' scene in the late aughts, Cortright has produced work natively online for over a decade and has won widespread acclaim for her innovative use of new digital mediums. She has exhibited work at the Museum of Modern Art (US), the Stedelijk Museum (NL), and the Venice Biennial (IT), and in many other venues.
James Whipple (b. 1985) is an artist working mainly with sound. Under the name M.E.S.H., he releases music with the Berlin label PAN, and is associated with the long-running club night Janus. As a composer and performer he has presented his work at institutions such as the Zentrum für Kunst und Medien (DE), the Institute of Contemporary Arts (UK), and MoMA PS1 (US).
